Jack Reeves

M.D./Ph.D. candidate

Jack is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. He is currently enrolled in the MD/PhD program at UB, where he applies advanced MR neuroimaging techniques, including QSM and DEEPOLE, to study the effects of inflammatory disease activity in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). His current research projects include evaluating the relationship between acute white matter inflammation and deep gray matter iron levels, assessing the long-term effects of chronic white matter inflammation on brain atrophy and MS disease progression, and studying how iron covaries between deep gray matter regions and how these associations are disrupted in MS.

In his free time, Jack enjoys running, reading, and playing board games with friends. He intends to pursue a career as a physician-scientist specializing in pediatric neurology.
